Short Seam Length

Seam Length (AKA Seam Height or Seam Width) is a critical external seam measurement. When too short, it means that there may not be sufficient space for the Sealing Compound and this could lead to it spilling onto the outside of the seam.

Possible causes for Short (Low) Seam Length:

• 1st operation too tight
• 2nd operation too loose
• Short body hook
• Incorrect roll profiles
