Chuck Wall Angle

July 17, 2016November 2, 2023 oferlaor

The angle of the chuck when it holds the cover (end). This angle is typically between 4-12 degreees off-axis. This value is critical for ensuring that the chuck’s hold on the end is strong.

Seam Thickness must be measured at the chuck wall angle to ensure correct values, using either a balanced seam thickness gauge, or seam inspection software SEAMetal & SEAMscan that is able to accurately measure the chuck wall angle.
